Essence at ESX – The Electronic Security Expo

These days (June 8-10) we are at Fort Worth Convention Center (Texas) attending ESX, The Electronic Security Expo, a conference and trade show for security providers, integrators, and monitoring companies who aim to grow their business and remain relevant and successful.

Since we are not only attending but also exhibiting, we have been pretty busy so far. We arrived one day prior to the beginning of the event to set everything up and mount our booth. You can see some pictures of how it looked when it was finished, do you like it?


We believe this is a unique occasion for visitors and potential partners to find all our ecosystem of products and devices on display and experience them at work, including our awarded Voice Panic Detector (VPD), a major enhancement for PERS technology and a significant innovation for seniors who wish to age in place, as well as our WeR@Home™ connected home solution, now improved with new professional security capabilities.


Also, we feel very proud that our VPD has won the ESX Innovation Award in the PERS category. It is the second year in a row that we have received this distinction, since last year we also got an Innovation Award for Digital Health/Well-Being Systems thanks to Care@Home™. As winners, we were nominated, among 9 other companies, for this year’s TechVision Challenge, where each competitor is provided with a set amount of time to present their most innovative product to a panel of industry judges. Josh Locke, our Director of Sales at Essence USA presented the VPD and we believe his demo was very successful. We hope he impressed the jury!


In this year’s edition, we are also sponsoring a Conference Track called ‘Grow Your Business’. It is intended for owners and executive and sales managers and it covers really useful and interesting topics such as how to be professional as well as persuasive, or how to use marketing tools and technology to your advantage, or what should be the key characteristics, attributes and attitude to become the ultimate sales professional.

For the next two days we will remain at the Convention Center receiving visitors to our stand (414, in case you want to come and say hi!), performing live demos of our connected living solutions, networking with industry friends and colleagues and holding meetings with potential business partners.
