Care@Home™ shortlisted for the Meffys Awards in the mHealth category
In Essence we keep sharing the good news. If just a few days ago WeR@Home™ was awarded European Consumer Choice 2014, now the turn is for another of our products to be in the spotlight. Care@Home™ has been shortlisted as one of the 5 finalists to the 11th Meffys Awards, in the mHealth category.
Meffys is a prestigious award given to innovative companies that utilize the mobile network to improve quality of life. These awards are granted by the MEF Global Forum, the global community for mobile content and commerce, and are meant for measuring success and rewarding innovation across the mobile ecosystem. Upon including us among the finalists, they have acknowledged the innovative character of our Smart Care solution that enables people to enjoy to comfort of aging at home with full confidence and peace of mind for themselves and their loved ones.
The Meffys, which this year have attracted over 250 entries from 30 countries across the 13 award categories, are judged by an independent panel of 40 journalists, academics, analysts and VCs from around the globe. New categories for 2014 include mHealth, Education and Big Data, demonstrating the diversity of the mobile content and commerce landscape as it continues to expand across new market sectors in both growing and established markets.
2014 Meffys winners will be unveiled in San Francisco on 19th November at a glittering gala dinner co-located with MEFs annual conference, MEF Global Forum 2014 which takes place at The Westin San Francisco Market Street on 17th to the 19th November.
